Dare to... |
You've had a dream... a vision about your future, you like it, but have a hard time believing that you can really make your dream a reality? The real deal is that you have to create that state of certainty where you believe in your dreams. You have to really know and feel that it's coming your way. So what do you do? Read on:

Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. Habakkuk 2:2
“Always think on paper.” ~ Keith Cunningham
- Write down your dreams and visions. If you expect to achieve what you believe, then you must write it down. I mean using pencil and paper, erasing all doubt, by drafting and refining it until you get it to where you want it.
"Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step." ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
- Take small action steps, consistently, each day to keep your dream alive. Each step reveals the next, but you've got to be willing to take the first step. And furthermore, as those next steps are revealed, you’ll start to exude confidence, you'll create a more powerful belief in your dreams. And, sometimes you've got to treat your dream as a reality...as though you've already achieved your goals... dress the part, speak the part and be the part, all while taking those action steps.
One important thing to know is that only what you do creates a compelling belief in your dreams. Your dream without action is just that... a dream. Your actions are your directions toward your dreams, but if you have no direction, then it's a road to nowhere. So be very clear about what you want and then go at it with unshakeable determination. Remember your dream is what you see, but your mission is what you do about what you see. If you encounter an obstacle along the way, find a way around it. Many before you have made their dream into reality, many more will do so in the future, and you can be one of them. So today I encourage you to take the first steps toward your dream. Believe it and know that everyday is another chance to make your dreams come true.
